  • All weddings are filmed by me, Joseph. I’m a solo shooter (sometimes with my partner helping me depending on the wedding) unobtrusively and with a calm, professional presence. If your wedding is especially large or logistically complex, we can discuss adding a second shooter.

  • While I might be a little biased, so many couples regret not hiring a videographer. A wedding film captures more than just visuals it captures voices, vows, laughter, music, and moments you may not even see on the day. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime memory, preserved.

  • Documentary-led, natural, and non-intrusive. I blend into the background so you and your guests can enjoy the day without disruption. Real moments, as they happen.

  • Swans mate for life and are symbols of elegance. A “swansong” is a legendary final song beautiful, rare, and heartfelt. Much like a wedding, it’s a unique celebration that deserves to be captured once, and remembered forever.

  • I accept bookings up to 3 years in advance. Even if your wedding is soon, reach out  if I’m available, I’d love to help.

  • Absolutely. In-person meetings can be arranged, but many couples prefer a phone or FaceTime chat due to busy schedules. Whatever works best for you.

  • Yes, I’m fully insured with public liability cover, and I always use a multi-camera setup with backup equipment for peace of mind.

  • I’m based in Croydon and serve Surrey, Kent and the surrounding areas. For weddings beyond a 40-mile radius, a small travel fee may apply.

  • One month before your wedding day. Your booking is secured with a £500 deposit.

  • Final delivery is usually between 18–26 weeks after the event, not including bank holidays. That said, I always aim to deliver as early as possible.

  • Your wedding films are delivered in high-quality 4K. If you receive a USB, it usually contains 2–3 files totalling around 16GB.

  • Yes, additional USBs can be ordered up to 6 months after your wedding.

  • It’s not just about the camera, it’s about experience, timing, and storytelling. I know how to anticipate key moments, adapt to light and sound challenges, and stay calm under pressure. Your friends should enjoy your day — let me handle the rest.

My name’s Joseph, and I’ve always been drawn to creativity.

From early home videos to documenting holidays, I’ve had a lifelong love for storytelling through a lens.

I studied Media at A-level, then earned a Film Production and Screenwriting degree, graduating with a 2:1. I later completed a Master’s in Video Editing, again graduating with 2:1.
In 2016, I launched Swansong Productions to combine my love of narrative, visuals and genuine moments. It’s an honour to capture some of life’s most meaningful days and I treat every wedding with the care and creativity it deserves.
